Description: Expanding upon the Open Boat Theme, this panel discusses the role of photography in the Caribbean from past to contemporary times, along with advantages and limitations met by Caribbean artists in a global space. The conversation is geared toward uncovering the connecting threads between the background and practices of the photographers, and how landscape, culture and social conditions influence a larger image of the Caribbean nations
